Sync & events

How fast does Kalender Sync sync? On every plan: Google/Microsoft almost instantly (webhooks). Apple/KSuite/iCal (Basic and up): every 5 minutes. Plus a safety net every few hours. → How fast is sync?

Are my original events modified? No, never. Kalender Sync only creates its own blockers in the target calendar and manages exclusively those.

Do others see my event details? Only what you allow: “Busy only” (default), “Title + time” or “Full details”. Attendee data never. → Visibility levels

Why is an event from next year missing? The synced range is −3 months to +6 months (Free & Basic) or +18 months (Professional); it appears automatically once it moves into the window. → Sync window

Why doesn’t my (all-day) vacation block anything? All-day events are treated as free by default — switchable. → All-day events

Why are my event colors grey or missing? First check that “Keep event colors” is turned on for the sync (from Basic; at “Busy only” and for sharings with others it starts off). Outlook sometimes shows newly created categories in color only after a few hours. If Microsoft asks for an extra permission, “Edit” shows a “Grant permission” button. iCloud target calendars have no per-event colors, and with CalDAV your calendar app decides whether it shows the color. If a Google target calendar is only shared with you, the closest of Google’s 11 classic colors arrives. → Keep event colors

Accounts & providers

Which calendars are supported? Google, Microsoft/Outlook, Apple iCloud, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org, Posteo, STRATO, Disroot, Infomaniak KSuite and iCal feeds (as a source). → Connect calendars

My company blocks the connection — now what? Three ways out: iCal feed right away (Basic and up), IT approval in 2 minutes, or an app-password provider (iCloud, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org, Posteo, STRATO, Disroot, KSuite). → Organisation blocks

Apple asks for a password — my regular one doesn’t work? Correct: it needs an app-specific password (created in 2 minutes). → Apple iCloud

Can I change the visibility of an existing sync? Via the sharing’s three-dot menu → “Edit”: sources, target calendar, visibility, placeholder title and prefix can be changed after the fact; the copies in the target calendar are rewritten automatically. → Edit a sharing

Account & payment

What happens after the trial? Automatically Free; surplus syncs are paused. For syncs of your own calendars the copied entries are removed after 14 days (your originals are untouched) — after an upgrade everything is restored from your original calendars. → Trial

How do I cancel? Self-service under Settings → Billing — effective at period end, revocable before. → Cancellation

How do I delete my account including all data? Self-service under Settings → Data — immediate and final, incl. blocker cleanup. → Delete account

Privacy

Where is my data stored? In Germany (Hetzner) — and event contents not at all. → Security & privacy

Is there a DPA? Yes, under Art. 28 GDPR — included on every plan for business use, part of our terms: kalender-sync.de/en/dpa. → DPA & sub-processors
