Sync not working — checklist
Nothing arriving? Go through these points in order — they’re sorted by frequency, and it’s usually one of the first three.
The checklist
Section titled “The checklist”- Initial sync not finished yet? The first synchronisation can take a few minutes up to half an hour depending on the number of events — you’ll get an email once it’s done.
- Connection okay? Does a calendar account in the dashboard say “Please reconnect”? Sync pauses until you do → Connection expired
- Sync paused? Check the status in the dashboard — including automatic pauses from trial end or plan limits (recognisable by the lock icon).
- Invitation not accepted yet? Status “Pending” means the receiving side hasn’t accepted — nothing syncs yet. You can re-copy the invite link from the dashboard.
- Event outside the sync window? Only 3 months back to 6 months ahead is synced → Sync window
- Just patience needed? Apple, KSuite and iCal feeds sync every 5 minutes, not instantly → How fast is sync?
- Looking at the right calendar? Especially with several accounts: is the target really the calendar you’re looking at? If a new calendar was created on accepting, it may need to be made visible in your calendar app first.
- All-day event? Those are transferred as free by default — and don’t block anything → All-day events
Individual events missing or duplicated?
Section titled “Individual events missing or duplicated?”If sync generally runs but individual events misbehave → Event missing, duplicated or late.
