Connect Claude

Open Kalender Sync in Claude

Kalender Sync is listed in Claude’s connector directory. You find the connector inside Claude and click Connect — that’s all it takes. The assistant gets nothing until you confirm the grant on our consent screen. That’s where you pick the calendars and set the detail level (and, if you want, write access) for each.

You don’t have to connect your calendars in the app beforehand: if you don’t have one yet, you can add it right on the consent screen.

Step by step

  1. In Claude, open Connectors and search for Kalender Sync. Alternatively, open the entry directly in the connector directory.
  2. Click Connect. Claude points out that this is a community connector Anthropic hasn’t reviewed in detail. That’s the case for every connector that doesn’t come from Anthropic itself. Confirm the notice.
  3. Claude sends you to Kalender Sync’s consent screen. Sign in and confirm the grant. Only now does the access exist.

On the consent screen you decide:

  • Connect a calendar, if you don’t have one yet — Google, Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org and Infomaniak kSuite are available.
  • Which calendars Kalender Sync may use at all.
  • The detail level per calendar — busy only, title and time, or full details. Plus write access if you want it.

Afterwards you can ask Claude about your availability (“Am I free on Thursday?”), have it find events (“When is my dentist appointment?”) — and optionally let it create events.

Alternative: add the connector by hand

Where the directory isn’t available (in some desktop or enterprise environments, for instance), you add Kalender Sync by hand. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and enter this address:

Everything after that is the same: Claude sends you to our consent screen, where you confirm the grant.

Disconnect again

In Kalender Sync under AI assistant, click Revoke on the access — effective immediately. More under Revoke access.
