Customise the placeholder title
With the “Busy only” visibility level, the blockers in the target calendar carry the default title “Geblockt” (German for “blocked” — not localised yet). Set your own placeholder title per sync, e.g. “Busy”.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- When setting up the sync, choose the “Busy only” level in the “Visibility” step.
- Below it, the optional “Placeholder title” field appears — enter e.g. “Appointment”, “Private” or “External”.
- All blockers of this sync will carry that title from then on.
Other visibility levels have no placeholder field — they transfer the real event name anyway.
Why a custom title is useful
Section titled “Why a custom title is useful”- Several syncs into the same target calendar: “Private” and “Side project” are distinguishable, “Geblockt” and “Geblockt” are not.
- Context for the receiving side without revealing details: “Booked externally” says enough.
- With a two-way sync you can set a different title per direction.
Changing it later
Section titled “Changing it later”Like the visibility level, the placeholder title is currently set at creation; editing existing syncs from the dashboard isn’t possible yet (planned → Known limitations). Until then: end the sync and recreate it with the new title — the blockers are rebuilt automatically.
