# Recurring events

Recurring events (daily, weekly, monthly …) are synced completely — every occurrence blocks the right time in the target, and changes to the series follow automatically.

## What works reliably

- **Every occurrence blocks correctly** — with title and details according to your [visibility level](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/sync/visibility-levels/).
- **Exceptions**: if a single instance is cancelled or moved, the target reflects it.
- **Series changes**: change the whole series in the source (e.g. a new weekday) and the blockers update accordingly.
- **Series end**: end or delete the series and the blockers disappear.

## Occurrences in the distant future

Blockers exist for occurrences within the [sync window](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/sync/sync-window/) (up to 6 months ahead, 18 months on the Professional plan). Further occurrences appear **automatically** as they move into the window — an endless weekly series never floods the target until 2030.

## An occurrence missing?

Usually a matter of the sync window or sync latency → [Event missing, duplicated or late](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/troubleshooting/event-missing-or-duplicate/). If it persists, [contact us](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/troubleshooting/contact-support/) with an example event.
