# plan_required

## What it means

Either you try to create a live calendar on the Free plan, or your account has more live calendars than the plan covers (for example after a downgrade or after the trial). In the second case feeds and subscribe pages keep running; only writes are refused.

## How to fix it

Test with a sandbox key (`ks_test_`), move to a larger plan, or delete a live calendar. Sandbox calendars are never affected. → [Plans and limits](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/abo-kalender/tarife/)
