# invalid_cursor

**The pagination cursor is invalid.**

| | |
|---|---|
| HTTP status | `400` |
| `code` | `invalid_cursor` |
| Retry? | No, fix the request first |

## What it means

The `cursor` parameter when listing events is not a value the API returned, or it was altered on the way.

## How to fix it

Pass `next_cursor` from the previous answer unchanged (URL-encoded). When in doubt, start again without `cursor`.

## Example

```json
{
  "type": "https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/api/errors/invalid_cursor",
  "title": "The request is invalid",
  "status": 400,
  "code": "invalid_cursor",
  "detail": "The cursor is not valid. Start again without it.",
  "request_id": "req_…"
}
