# insufficient_scope

## What it means

The key does not have the required scope (`publisher:read`, `publisher:write` or `publisher:stats`), or it is limited to selected calendars and tries to create a new calendar.

## How to fix it

Keys from **Settings › Developer / API** have all three scopes. Check with `GET /v1/me` which scopes and calendars your key has, and use another key if needed.
