# Plans & limits

Kalender Sync comes in three plans. Current prices are on the [pricing page](https://kalender-sync.de/en/pricing/) — this page covers what functionally sets the plans apart.

## The plans compared

## How counting works

- A **two-way sync** ([sync your own calendars](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/sharings/self-sync/)) counts as **one** sync — not two.
- A sync with [multiple source calendars](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/sharings/multiple-sources/) counts as **one** sync.
- **Paused** syncs don't count against the active limit — resuming checks it, though.
- An **iCal feed** counts as **one calendar account**, exactly like a Google, Microsoft or CalDAV account. So on Basic you can have three feeds — or two feeds plus one Google account. If you need more than 3 accounts, the [Professional plan](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/account-billing/upgrade-cancel/) with unlimited accounts is the way to go.

## What happens at the limit?

Nothing dramatic: you simply can't create **additional** syncs or accounts until you end/disconnect something or upgrade. Everything existing keeps running — nothing is ever deleted.

Providers not included in your plan appear greyed out with a lock icon in the "Connect calendar" dialog. An [upgrade](https://docs.kalender-sync.de/en/account-billing/upgrade-cancel/) takes effect immediately and unlocks them right away.

## Plan notes in these docs

Pages about features that require a specific plan carry a small note at the top ("Available on Basic and up" / "Available on the Professional plan") with a link to the pricing page — no guessing needed.
